Job summary

Ichor Systems in Sauk Rapids, MN is hiring a Welder to operate TIG and orbital welders, read blueprints, and produce welded components to spec. The role requires experience with high-purity manufacturing and adherence to SOPs, with a focus on quality and safety in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years manufacturing or related work experience; semiconductor industry preferred.
• Basic math, blueprint reading and weld-to-print skills.
• Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent or currently enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Running of various welding machines, including hand welding, TIG welding, and orbital welding of stainless steel and other high purity materials.
• Adhere to all SOPs relevant to manufacturing duties.
• Study prints, drawings and specifications to complete finished welds and task layouts using specialized welding equipment.
• Inspect work for quality and consistency according to prints; perform sequence of operations meeting set quality/quantity standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
