Ichor Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Weld Operator in Sauk Rapids, MN. The role involves welding stainless steel and other high‑purity materials using TIG, hand, and orbital welding methods on various machines.

Candidates should have 3–4+ years of manufacturing experience (semiconductor industry preferred) and have completed a 2‑year Welding Technology program or be enrolled in one. Competitive shifts and differential apply.

Qualifications

3–4+ years manufacturing or related work experience – semiconductor industry preferred.
Successful completion of a 2-year professional trade program in Welding Technology or equivalent – or currently enrolled.
3+ years TIG welding of stainless steel (or degree in Welding Technology / currently enrolled).
Basic math, blueprint reading and weld‑to‑print skills.

Responsibilities

Run various welding machines, including hand, TIG and orbital welding of stainless steel and other high‑purity materials.
Follow Ichor’s Standard Operating Procedures related to manufacturing duties.
Study prints, drawings and specifications to complete welds and layout tasks using specialized welding equipment.
Process and inspect work in accordance with prints and maintain quality and quantity standards.
Perform a sequence of operations and assist with other duties as assigned.
