Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Welder at its Tulsa, OK location. This position plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of Chart's products. The Welder will operate cranes and hand tools, weld, maintain records, and supervise cleanliness while preparing for a night shift.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to pass specific welding tests, and proficiency in welding practices. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.

  • Ability to pass a 2G carbon plate with a backing bar.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
  • Proficiency in welding best practices.
  • Potential to work up to six days a week for 12-hour days.

Chart’s Welder position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. Our Tulsa Centergate location is currently seeking candidates interested in the Welder/Fitter position and growing their skillset with us.

Centergate is located at 5615 S. 129th E Ave, Tulsa, OK.

  • Note: this is a night shift position.
What Will You Do?
  • Operate cranes, hand tools, and forklifts.
  • Weld and fit structural material through established manufacturing processes with minimum instruction and supervision.
  • Accurately maintain required records.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
  • Assist other new welders in learning welding skills.
  • Complete and follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Complete company–provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilities.
  • Other work as assigned.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
  • Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and occasional crawling.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material.
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions.
  • Repetitive hand movements during welding operations.
Your Experience Should Be...
  • High School diploma or GED.
