Job summary

Welder I (Structure Welder) Night Shift

Location: Tulsa, OK, 74115

Company: Chart Industries

The Chart Industries Tulsa Centergate location is seeking a Welder/Fitter to play a key role in the manufacturing of structural components. This is a night shift position.

Centergate is located at 5615 S. 129th E Ave, Tulsa, OK.

What Will You Do?
  • Operate cranes, hand tools, and forklifts.
  • Weld and fit structural material following established manufacturing processes with minimal instruction and supervision.
  • Accurately maintain required records and keep the work area clean.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs.
  • Assist new welders in learning welding skills.
  • Complete all safety procedures and policies.
  • Complete company‑provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilities.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require:
  • Lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking, and occasional crawling.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, and handling of material.
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions.
  • Repetitive hand movements during welding operations.
Your Experience Should Be:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a 2G carbon plate with a backing bar.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols.
  • Proficiency in welding best practices.
  • Potential to work up to 6 days a week for 12‑hour shifts.
