Atkore International in Houston, TX, is seeking a Welder I for day shift. The role reports to the supervisor and involves welding cable tray products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include setting up welding machines, reading drawings, and fabricating per blueprints and customer specs. Overtime may be required, and safety is emphasized throughout daily operations.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School Welding Certificate preferred.
• At least 6+ months welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and work a 10-hour shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, adjust and operate welding machines in the department.
• Interpret drawings and fabricate per blueprints.
• Fabricate per customer requirements to specifications.
• Follow safety practices and participate in Atkore’s safety program.
• Cross train in different shop areas as required.
• Perform duties with PPE and safety controls.
