Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Welder for first, second, or third shift in Sanford, NC. Starting pay is $21.70 per hour with an additional 8% shift premium for 3rd shift.

The role includes a quarterly goal sharing program and Day 1 comprehensive benefits. Typical shifts run Monday–Friday with overtime available as needed. As a Welder, you will operate MIG welding equipment, inspect your work, perform repairs, and follow CPS in 5S and standard work.

Formación

• Welding operation experience required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Good blueprint reading and measurement skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate robotic and manual MIG weld machines.
• Inspect own work with weld gauges and measuring tools.
• Perform in-station repair on defective welds.
• Clear robotic welding system faults as needed.
• Move heavy components safely using lifting devices.
• Perform routine maintenance (wire change, tip/nozzle change).
• Follow standard procedures, routings and blueprints.
