Job Description

The Production Welder will perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on standard and near-standard assemblies. Responsibilities include de-burring, grinding, fitting components prior to welding, and finishing work such as polishing. The role involves preparing parts, operating various welding equipment, and assisting other operators as needed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform work based on manufacturing information, bills of material, and instructions.
2. Determine necessary parts, jigs, fixtures, and obtain materials from stock.
3. Prepare components by wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding.
4. Manage scrap and record-keeping as required.
5. Operate spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG, MIG welders, and cutting tools.
