Job description

Job Title: US-Worcester-Welder I
What You'll Do

The Production Welder will perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on both repetitive and non-repetitive assemblies. Responsibilities include de-burring, grinding, fitting components prior to welding, and polishing finished elements as required. The welder will also block jig or position parts before welding and assist other operators as directed.

In this Function You Will
  1. Perform work based on manufacturing information, bills of material, and instructions (written and oral).
  2. Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts, inventory, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas.
  3. Complete preparation tasks such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding components.
  4. Handle scrap disposal and maintain documentation/records as required.
  5. Operate welding equipment including spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welders, MIG welders, and cutting tools.
