Compensation

• This position is for 1stshift.
• Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
• Overtime available on a business need basis.
What You Will Do
• You will understand welding theory.
• You will perform welding, soldering, and brazing on difficult production and prototype instrumentation piece parts.
• You will weld parts that meet drawing expectations.
• You will properly use shop/hand tools, welding equipment and other equipment required to complete tasks.
• You will maintain machine tools, welding equipment, and supplies.
• You will maintain knowledge of welding specifications.
• You will proficiently use computers tools such as SAP.
• You will comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
• You will ensure attention to quality while meeting production schedules.
• You will establish and preserve documented welding procedures.
• You will advise engineering on technical welding aspects of new units and fixtures including setups.
• You will participate in continuous improvement and waste minimization efforts.
• You will complete other assembly work as required
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
