Job Title: US-Worcester-Welder I

What You'll Do

The Production Welder will perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on both repetitive and non-repetitive assemblies. Responsibilities include de-burring, grinding, fitting components prior to welding, and finishing elements through grinding and polishing as needed. The role also involves blocking jigs or positioning parts before welding and assisting other operators as required.

In this Function You Will

1. Perform work based on manufacturing information, bills of material, and instructions (written and/or oral).
2. Determine necessary parts, inventory, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas.
3. Prepare components by wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding.
4. Handle scrap materials appropriately and maintain documentation or records as needed.
5. Operate various welding equipment including spot welders, arc welders, plasma TIG welders, MIG welders, and cutting tools.
