Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. in Memphis, TN, is hiring a Welder I to join a team focused on rail, transit, and heavy structural fabrication.

The position supports our Day shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm). You will read blueprints, weld with MIG and Stick processes, and assist with material handling while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, etc.).
• Minimum 1 year of industrial welding experience.
• AWS Weld Certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets work instructions, blueprints, and reference documents.
• Operates cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts to move material.
• Performs MIG and Stick welding, usually 3/8 bead with flux core.
• Assists other employees and communicates safety and quality issues to supervisors.
