Job summary

nVent is seeking a production-aligned candidate at the Hitchcock, TX facility to perform layouts, prep channels/beams/plates, and cut materials using saw equipment. You will assist in skid fit-up, drill holes with a track torch, and cross-train across departments.

The role supports journeyman welders, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a dynamic, global company.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience preferred.

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected challenges.
• Availability to work 2nd shift.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION

Perform layouts; material prep channels, beams, and plate, and cut material on saw equipment.

Conduct housekeeping as necessary.

Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality.
