Job summary

nVent is seeking a Team Lead to support day-to-day goals through leadership, communication, safety, quality, and delivery. You will ensure uninterrupted production flow and provide coaching to employees. Must be able to train on 1st or 2nd Shift.

We emphasize continuous improvement, cross-training, and problem solving while maintaining strong adherence to policies and procedures to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Metal fabrication experience required, including grinding and welding.
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Experience conducting training in alignment to company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate job expectations to operators and achieving desired results by monitoring, coaching, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to motivate a team to meet safety, quality and delivery metrics.
  • Skilled in analytical thinking and problem solving – including continuous improvement efforts.

POSITION SUMMARY

Pay Transparency nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
