Job summary

Helion in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced Welder to lead fabrication projects for custom assemblies. You will work closely with engineers and production supervisors to ensure parts meet design intent and production timelines.

You will use plasma cutters, MIG/TIG welders, oxyacetylene torches, and other tools. The role requires reading technical drawings and maintaining high safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding rods, fluxes, and metals.
• Experience operating MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, and related tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand/bend/kneel for extended periods.
• Proficiency in safety practices in welding.

Responsibilities

• Lead welding and fabrication projects to manufacture custom assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineers and Production Supervisors.
• Provide DFM feedback to support rapid manufacturing of parts and assemblies.
• Fabricate and repair components using plasma cutters, MIG/TIG welders, and torches.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
• Operate saws, grinders, drill presses, and hand tools.
• Move materials using forklifts and cranes.
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain PPE and safety standards.
