Job summary

Pro Mechanical Services seeks an experienced Welder/Fitter for our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, take precise measurements, and fabricate and weld metal components to tight tolerances on the 2nd shift.

Specialists will perform MIG welding, fit and assemble parts, and verify dimensions with measuring tools. Weekly pay is offered with health, dental, and vision coverage after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to read measurements and fit assemblies before welding.
• Experience performing MIG welding on various metal components.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to accurately fit and assemble metal components before welding.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who can read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and produce quality welds.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $26 - $30 an hour plus 15% differential

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Fit, align, tack, and weld metal components and assemblies
• Perform MIG welding on various metal components
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools
• Use hand and power tools to prepare and finish components
• Grind, clean, and prepare welds as needed
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre‑employment background check
