Job summary

Pro Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder for our fabrication team in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on fitting and MIG welding structural steel per blueprints.

You will read drawings, measure and align parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to PPE and safety procedures. Some weekends may be required on a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in fitting and welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Measure, fit, align, and assemble metal components prior to welding
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety procedures and wear PPE

Responsibilities

• Fitting and mig welding of structural steel or metal components per blueprints and specs
• Ensure parts are correctly aligned before welding and perform tack welds as needed
• Inspect welds visually and with basic measurement tools for quality and accuracy
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor
• Collaborate with fabrication team to meet production schedules

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in fitting and mig welding structural steel or metal components according to blueprints and specifications.

• 2nd Shift
• Pay $25 - $28 and hour based on experience
• Monday - Friday with some required weekends.
