Formación

• 1-2 years minimum uninterrupted experience using FCAW.
• Proficiency in multiple welding processes and blueprint reading.
• Solid knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding code and related standards.
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedure specifications.
• Prepare metal components by cutting, grinding, and shaping to precise measurements.
• Perform welding processes such as FCAW and other methods to join materials.
• Inspect welds visually and with nondestructive testing to meet quality standards.
• Select metals/alloys for tasks and troubleshoot welding issues.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and adjust parameters.
• Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure proper alignment before welding.
• Maintain detailed records of welding activities and inspections.
