Job summary

CompX National in Mauldin, SC is seeking a MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team at the Mauldin location. The role emphasizes delivering quality welds with sharp aesthetics and requires ability to walk the cup and read prints.

You will be responsible for welding stainless steel and other materials, following quality procedures, and performing additional machining tasks as needed while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Summary

• Must be able to MIG/TIG stainless steel and other materials
• Priority is to deliver a quality weld that is also aesthetically pleasing.
• Must be able to perform the "walking the cup" technique
• Willingness to perform other machining jobs if necessary
• Familiar with reading prints and work instructions
• Ability to follow quality procedures and processes
• Selected candidate must have strong attention to detail
• Must maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Must be able to perform daily housekeeping as needed.
