Job summary

CompX National is seeking a 3rd shift MIG/TIG Welder/Fabricator for the Mauldin, SC location. The role requires welding stainless steel and other materials, with emphasis on quality and aesthetics. Weekend and overtime may apply with a 10:30 pm–7:00 am schedule.

Shift: Third. Shift Premium: $5.00 per hour. Benefits include multiple insurances, 401k with match, FSA, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be able to MIG/TIG stainless steel and other materials
• Priority is to deliver a quality weld that is aesthetically pleasing
• Must be able to perform the walking the cup technique
• Willingness to perform other machining jobs if necessary
• Familiar with reading prints and work instructions
• Ability to follow quality procedures and processes
• Selected candidate must have strong attention to detail
• Must maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Must be able to perform daily housekeeping as needed
