Henderson Products Inc. in Kenvil, NJ is seeking an Installation Technician to join our heavy bay team. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication, and assembly on up‑fits for heavy‑duty trucks, reading schematics and blueprints to ensure precise installations.

Join Henderson Products Inc., located at 94 N. Dell Ave, Kenvil, NJ! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and “Keeping America’s Roads Safe!”

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday: 6:00AM to 4:30PM

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE: As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds.

The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred):

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools
• Must be willing to work in a team environment
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (required):

• Must be able to successfully pass a weld test for uphill and vertical welding.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
