Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Columbia, MO is seeking an Installation Technician for our heavy bay. You will perform MIG welding, fabrication and assembly for up-fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work trucks.

The role requires reading schematics and blueprints, basic shop math, and teamwork. Experience in manufacturing and welding is preferred; technical certifications are helpful but not required. We offer solid benefits and career development.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math & ability to interpret work instructions, diagrams & blueprints.
• Hand dexterity and working knowledge of hand tools.
• Must be willing to work in a team environment.
• Previous experience in manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with weld, assembly processes.
• Technical degree helpful and/or specialty certifications (i.e., welding, electrical, hydraulics), not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding, fabrication and some assembly work for up-fit and installation on heavy-duty truck builds.
• Conduct diagnostic and repair work on installed equipment.
• Read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints; perform shop math; ensure accurate installations and repairs.
• Assist with wiring/electrical systems and hydraulics as needed.

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday: 6:00am to 4:30pm

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As an Installation Technician in our heavy bay, you will have a variety of responsibilities including MIG welding, fabrication, and some assembly work in the up fit and installation of equipment on heavy-duty work truck builds. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, experience in MIG Welding, and ensure accurate installations and repairs. Knowledge of wiring and electrical systems and/or hydraulics is a plus.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS (preferred)
