Role Description

The Welder/Fabricator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Memphis, TN. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and performing welding and fabrication to assemble metal components and structures. Daily tasks include operating welding equipment, fitting and aligning parts, and inspecting completed work to ensure accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with safety and quality requirements. The Welder/Fabricator will also perform basic equipment maintenance, follow safety protocols, collaborate with team members and supervisors, and assist with general shop duties as needed to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in core welding techniques, including Welding, Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding.
• Knowledge of Materials used in metal fabrication, including properties, compatibility, and proper handling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders, with strong measurement and layout skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools, cutting equipment, and fabrication machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong commitment to safety practices, personal protective equipment usage, and OSHA or equivalent guidelines.
• Attention to detail, ability to inspect welds and finished products, and willingness to correct defects or rework parts.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a production team environment.
• Previous welding/fabrication experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting; relevant certifications or technical training are .
