Job summary

Hercules Custom Iron is a fast-paced, creative shop delivering high-end, custom metal projects. We seek Welder Fabricators to join our growing team at our Frederick facility, where craftsmanship and integrity matter.

We offer pay starting at $25–$35/hour DOE, a $2,500 signing bonus, a 4-day work week with overtime, weekly pay, and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO. PTO accrues Day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ornamental railing, fabrication and finish work.
• Advanced TIG welding ability.
• Ability to weld and finish mild steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
• Skilled in blueprint reading and custom rail layout.
• High attention to detail with clean and polished finishing work.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding fabrications for ornamental railing and fence projects.
• Follow blueprints and ensure precise finishing on custom rail work.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ornamental railing and fence layout, fabrication, and finish work
• Advanced TIG welding ability
• Ability to weld and finish mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Skilled in blueprint reading and custom rail layout
• High attention to detail with clean and polished finishing work

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and repeatedly
• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting for 8+ hours

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain access to government job sites is a plus
