Job summary

Hohl Industrial Services is seeking skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our Tonawanda, NY fabrication team. We handle hydro, structural steel, bridges, and other specialty projects, and we pride ourselves on quality workmanship and a safe, efficient workflow.

You will set up and operate welding equipment across FCAM, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW, fabricate and repair metals, and work with forklifts and cranes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with welding and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, grinders, and cutting torches.
• Ability to weld in various positions as required.
• AWS D1.1, D1.5 and D1.6 weld requirements knowledge a plus.
• OSHA 10 a plus.
• Prior rigging experience a plus.
• Ability to pass a weld-test.

Hohl Industrial Services is seeking skilled and motivated Welders/Fabricators to join our dynamic fabrication team! We specialize in a wide range of specialty fabrications, including Hydro, Structural Steel, Bridges, and more. If you're a driven individual who's ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate welding equipment specific to various processes, including FCAM, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW, based on job requirements.
• Join, fabricate and repair metals and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques/processes.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, grinders, cutting torches, and other related tools and equipment.
• Weld components in all positions or as limited by specific welding processes.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with welding and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
• Prior experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, grinders, cutting torches, and other tools related to fabrication.
• Ability to weld in various positions as required by specific welding tasks.
• Proficiency with regards to AWS D1.1, D1.5 and D1.6 weld requirements a plus
• OSHA 10 a plus
• Prior rigging experience a plus
• Ability to pass a weld-test
