Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. in Valdosta, GA is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to read blueprints, set up welds, and fabricate components for diverse projects. You will work in shop or on job sites, follow safety procedures, and mentor junior welders as needed.

Responsibilities include interpreting specifications, using GMAW welding, cutting materials, maintaining records, and collaborating with engineers and supervisors to deliver high-quality welds on time. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use GMAW to weld and manufacture items and components.
• Cut materials to required shapes and check dimensions.
• Weld or join metal for a wide range of structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Maintain safety and produce high-quality work.
• Supervise and mentor Welder I/II, including training.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines.
• Operate tools, equipment, and welding machinery.
