Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our indoor fabrication team.

You will cut, fit, weld, and finish high-precision metal parts from engineering drawings, ensuring quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. You should have 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW), be proficient with reading weld symbols and measurements, and work safely with grinders and fabrication tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding/fabrication experience (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW)
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and weld symbols
• Knowledge of welding parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Strong layout, math, and measuring skills (metric & imperial)
• Confidence using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Commitment to quality and meeting deadlines
• Collaborative, solution-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Supporting other production tasks as needed

What You'll Do

As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll be hands-on with critical components, working from engineering drawings to cut, fit, weld, and finish high-precision parts. You'll play a key role in delivering the quality and reliability our customers count on.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Cutting, drilling, tapping, and prepping metal parts per specifications
• Reading shop drawings and welding symbols accurately
• Performing fit-ups, tack welding, and final welds
• Flattening, straightening, and preparing parts for powder coating
• Grinding and finishing as required
• Maintaining your work area and tools in clean, safe condition
• Collaborating with team members and communicating job progress
• Following safety protocols and participating in safety meetings
• Taking initiative to solve fabrication challenges
• Supporting other production tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with:

• 3+ year of welding/fabrication experience GMAW, FCAW, GTAW
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and weld symbols
• Knowledge of welding parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
• Strong layout, math, and measuring skills (metric & imperial)
• Confidence using hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment as well as finishing skills

This role is based in our indoor fabrication facility and includes physically active tasks such as lifting, bending, welding, and grinding.
