Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and a good eye for precision fabrication. This role involves working on a variety of metal projects, requiring a combination of technical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and FCAW on mild steel.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine material requirements and project designs.
  • Layout material according to print specification.
  • Fabricate metal parts and structures according to project specifications and dimensions.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of welds and fabricated parts through thorough inspections.
  • Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members and shop foreman to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with welding equipment and make minor repairs as needed.
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
