Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cut Shop Technician in Tualatin, OR, to support our high-precision production environment. You will cut metal components to tight specifications, prep materials, and perform shop tasks to keep workflow efficient.

The role requires reading CAD drawings, using measuring tools accurately, and performing basic grinding and light welding. A strong work ethic and commitment to quality are essential for success in our safety-focused facility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to use and read measuring tools accurately.
• Reliable, positive, and strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, including weld symbols.
• Strong layout and math skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hand tools and hand-held power tools.
• Ability to routinely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to wearing required PPE while on the manufacturing floor.

• Day Shift (4 x 10s): Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Swing Shift (4 x 10s): Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
• Weekend Shift (3 x 12s): Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Position Overview :
As a Cut Shop Technician, you will be responsible for cutting metal components to precise specifications, preparing materials, and performing various shop tasks to support our production process.

• Basic welding and tacking skills.
• Familiarity with both metric and imperial measuring systems.
• Physically active role; indoor and outdoor settings
• Regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to be comfortable wearing at the job:
• Metatarsal-guard boots
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• Gloves (as needed)
