Job Summary

Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using various tools and equipment, such as welders, torches, and plasma cutters, according to required specifications in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately produce equipment and products.
• Prefer candidates with experience in stick, MIG, and TIG welding.
• Utilize handheld tools such as grinders, band saws, and torches.
• Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other hand tools for welding and fabrication.
• Maintain weld machines through preventative maintenance.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Rework or repair welded parts as needed according to engineering specifications.
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management.
• Conduct machine installations, repairs, maintenance, and fabrication of special parts as required.
