Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Summary:

The right candidate will:

1. Perform welding operations such as arc, MIG, TIG, brazing, and burning in all positions on various metals.
2. Operate drill presses to fabricate parts.
3. Record measurements and pertinent information as required.
4. Weld according to SMAW, GMAW, GTAW standards, including vertical up, vertical down, and horizontal positions.
5. Perform plasma arc cutting and air carbon arc cutting.
6. Handle pipe bending, fitting, welding, and threading.
7. Use horizontal and vertical saws, torches, and cut-off wheels.
8. Set up and operate all welding machines and perform basic troubleshooting.
9. Set up and operate all fabrication area machines, with troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, including welding prints.
