Our client has a fabrication shop seeking an experienced and skilled welder to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts and structures. The welder must possess expertise in various welding techniques and have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of welding with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW thermal processes in the manufacturing of pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Read and interpret prints for specifications and dimensions.
• Weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR.
• Proficient in arc gouging process.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components.
• Highly safety-conscious individual.
• Self-motivated and highly productive, requiring minimal supervision, with the ability to execute jobs efficiently within scheduled hours.
• Ability to pass weld qualification for each process.
• Pass Sub ARC Test.
• Recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality.
• Punctual and dependable, willing to work outside standard hours when required.
• Must pass 6G piping weld test, both visual and x-ray.
