Job description

B&W/Diamond Power, Lancaster, OH location is seeking a 1st shift Welder in a Union Shop. The starting pay rate is $28.82.

The ideal candidate must have a High School Degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of welding experience performing welding operations on parts related to B&W standard products, using Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) processes in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).

The candidate must also pass a weld certification test utilizing the GMAW process.

Qualifications:

The candidate should have knowledge and understanding of the following tools and equipment:

• Operate GMAW welding equipment, shielding gas mixers, stud welders, belt sanders, stone saws, overhead cranes, oxy-acetylene torches, tape measures, squares, hand grinding equipment, regulators, high-pressure gas cylinders, plasma torch equipment.
