Job description

Welder / Fabricator $26 - $27/hr | TIG | Custom Sheet Metal

We're looking for a Welder/Fabricator with expertise in TIG welding and custom sheet metal work. If you enjoy working independently, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and can read blueprints effortlessly, this position is ideal for you.

Pay: $26-$27/hr depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift

Responsibilities:

• TIG welding on custom sheet metal projects
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and detailed drawings
• Fabricating unique, custom pieces
• Maintaining quality standards while meeting deadlines
• Applying math skills to ensure precision

Compensation: Based on education, experience, location, duties, and certifications.

Requirements:

• Proven TIG welding experience, especially with custom work
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math and measuring skills
• Ability to work independently and uphold quality standards
• Experience with punch press or press brake is a plus
• Trade school or hands-on sheet metal experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Own tools and welding gear (mask, gloves, etc.)
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, even when working solo
