Position Summary

Lincoln Electric Products Co Inc. is seeking a Welder to join its dynamic team. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate. It is a full-time, non-exempt position and candidate will be reporting directly to the shop supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and operate MIG / TIG welding equipment.
  • Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum in various shape and sizes.
  • Familiarity with using a variety of small powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Working with a team of welders / fabricators / powder coaters / assemblers.
  • Building the equipment with reliability and speed under tight deadlines.
  • Maintaining records, work status and supply inventory.
  • Interfacing with quality, supply chain, engineering, and assembly departments.
  • Participating in individual and team based continuous improvement activities.
  • Flexibility to perform work in other areas as required.
  • Cross train within the department on other various operations as required.
  • Keep work area, tools, and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience welding fabricated metal parts (Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminum) with tight tolerances.
  • Ability to read blueprints, bill of material (BOM’s), schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine best methods and sequences of product assembly.
  • Troubleshoot parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.
  • Ability to work in a team and/or independently as needed.
  • Experience with working with hand tools and measuring devices.
  • Must be an energetic, self-starter, very dependable
  • Requires the working knowledge of and use of hand tools, power tools, and electronic equipment.
  • Work environment is loud (hearing protection is required).
  • Work on your feet for most of the work shift.
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs.

Education

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Trade School Graduate is a plus.
  • Fork Truck certification a plus.
  • Crane operation certification a plus.
