Job summary

Rumpke is a family-owned waste and recycling leader hiring a welder to repair containers, fleet vehicles, and field installations. You will weld, sand, grind, cut, and fabricate using MIG/ARC processes in a shop or field setting while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent welding and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of MIG/ARC and stick welding preferred.
• Ability to operate cutting torch/plasma cutter and shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, grinding, cutting, torching, and fabrication on containers and equipment.
• Weld using MIG and ARC processes and fabricate steel components.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and complete required paperwork.
• Assist with container installations and related project work.
