Henderson Products Inc in Manchester, IA is seeking a Welder for truck-mounted equipment. You will produce weldments from blueprints, set up welding machines, and ensure quality to meet daily demand.

Role requires MIG welding, blueprint-reading skills, basic shop math, and adherence to safety and 5S practices. On-site team environment with growth opportunities in a leading heavy-duty equipment company.

Qualifications

• Welding using GMAW/MIG with blueprints or documentation.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic shop math.
• Read a tape measure and work with fixtures as needed.
• Minimum 6 months experience or a related certificate/degree.

Day Shift 5am to 300pm 20 minute paid lunch Flexible start times available if needed

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As a Welder of truck mounted equipment you will be responsible for consistently producing high quality weldments through the use of provided blueprints or documentation to achieve daily schedule attainment to meet customer demand Welders are responsible for the set up operation adjustment and regulation of welding machines Welds with or without the use of fixtures May utilize various tools to cut grind bevel fit metals together and remove slag Performs designated maintenance functions assumes ownership for quality of weldments participates in training performs daily 5S activities and maintains all safety standards

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS

• Ability to weld parts using GMAW MIG
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints knowledge of basic shop math and the ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to operate overhead hoist
• Minimum of 6 Months experience andor associates degree or certification
• Adheres to all health and safety rules and maintains good housekeeping 5s

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Ability to liftpush up to 50 lbs
• Bending lifting and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
