Job Overview

Perform fit-up, tack welding, and finish welding on sub-assembled components and main frames of construction equipment using the GMAW (MIG) welding process. Utilize related fabrication equipment and tools as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Fit-up, tack weld, and finish weld on sub-assembled components and main frames of construction equipment using GMAW (MIG) welding process.
• Work on various assignments at different work stations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding degree from a technical college or 1+ years of welding experience required.
• Ability to fit up, tack weld, and finish weld on sub-components and main frames using GMAW (MIG).
• Good safety and attendance record.
• Availability to work any shift.
• Ability to pass AWS D14.3 qualifications.
• Positive attitude towards customers, colleagues, and the company.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet schedules.
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.
• Willingness to work off shifts (2nd or 3rd shift).
