Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Team Member (Welder) at our Nicholasville, KY location to fabricate Mobile Solution systems in a collaborative, on-site environment. This is a 2nd shift role, Monday-Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., focusing on welding, assembly, and quality checks.

You will read blueprints, set up and operate welders, handle material transport, and ensure compliance with safety and DOT policies. Minimum qualifications include welding experience or certification and ability to read blueprints;

Qualifications

• Must have prior welding experience and/or welding certifications.
• Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Operate welders and set up equipment.
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Possess basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and observe all EHS rules.
• Fit, weld, and detail equipment assemblies from sheet and structural steel.
• Set up and operate various welders.
• Read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Use hand tools and measurements to complete tasks.
• Perform quality checks and document records.
• Material handling and transportation of products.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and health/safety guidelines.

The Team Member (Welder) at our Nicholasville, KY location involves working collaboratively to fabricate Mobile Solution systems in an innovative team orientated environment. This is a 2nd shift onsite role, with hours Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Role Responsibilities

• Work safely and observe all EHS rules
• To fit, weld together and detail equipment assemblies out of sheet steel and structural steel
• Set up and operate different types of welders
• Read blueprints and understand written and verbal instructions
• Use mechanical ability, work instructions and hand tools to complete daily tasks
• Complete quality checks and fill out appropriate paperwork for record
• Material Handling and Transportation of Product
• Complies with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures
• Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have prior welding experience and/or welding certifications
• Read blueprints
• Fit/tack weldment assemblies
• Operate industrial fork trucks and overhead cranes.
• High School Diploma, GED, previous experience
