Qualifications

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Saturday overtime based on business needs.

Starting Wage:

• Welder I - $21.25/hr + 13% shift premium
• Welder II - $25.50/hr + 13% shift premium

Responsibilities:

Welder I

• Comply with safety rules
• Operate equipment safely and effectively
• Support different products and areas
• Train new employees or those learning new work areas
• Follow procedures and policies
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Assist with robotic welder
• Additional duties as assigned

Welder II

• All Welder I responsibilities
• Intermediate MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding
• Troubleshoot welding issues
• Operate and maintain welding equipment

Welder III

• All Welder I & II responsibilities
• Understanding of aluminum alloys and welding processes
• Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding
• Weld complex components with MIG, TIG, and stick
• Operate robotic welder

Requirements:

• High school diploma or certification
• Internal weld test
• Understanding of welding fundamentals
• Basic welding experience or training
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding equipment
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team

Physical demands include talking, hearing, manual dexterity, standing, walking, occasional stooping, bending, reaching, lifting 25-50 pounds, and frequent computer work. Occasional travel required.
