Job summary

Ziegler CAT in Buhl, MN is seeking a full-time Welder (2nd Shift) to perform welding and fabrication on heavy construction and mining equipment. Hours are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a wage range of $27 to $45 per hour depending on skills and location.

You will maintain equipment, document work orders, and work safely with the team while pursuing ongoing training and career development at Ziegler.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree/certificate in welding or related field; or high school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable welding experience.
• Able to operate spot welder, arc welder, plasma TIG welder, MIG welder, cutting torch, power grinder, power sander, hand-tools, bandsaw, drills, temporary fixturing devices, and other metal-fabrication equipment.
• Able to read dimensional blueprints and use measuring tools

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication.
• Maintain equipment such as dressing welding electrodes, oiling/greasing, machine settings, changing tooling, and other adjustments as necessary.
• Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards.
• Work collaboratively and assist other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and grow product knowledge
