SITE Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced MIG welder for a production role in Milwaukee, WI. The job involves welding I-beam frames and fuel tanks in multiple positions, with sheet metal ranging from 10 gauge to 1/2 inch.

Day-to-day tasks include clamping, tack-welding, grinding, and using various tools to meet precise configurations. The position requires reading measuring devices and blueprints, with GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints (essential).
• GMAW (MIG/MAG) welding experience preferred.
• Must be motivated and able to work with others; attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Weld I-Beam frames and fuel tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt components to configuration and positions; use hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects or malfunctions.

Hours: 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday through Friday

Pay: $19-26/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions. The sheet metal thickness will range from 10 gauge up to ½ inch. Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for weldingPosition and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand toolsInspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
