Join to apply for the Welder - 2nd Shift role at Systems, LLC - Poweramp | DLM.

We are Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to grow and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.

This role is within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. The successful candidate will weld and assemble various components using handheld and robotic welding equipment, working with materials such as plate steel, sheet steel, structural steel, and tubing. Responsibilities include preparing and completing manual and robotic welding tasks, inspecting welds, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Weld and assemble components using hand-held and robotic welding equipment
  • Prepare and finish work by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal
  • Test and inspect welded components to meet specifications
  • Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables
  • Monitor and troubleshoot robotic welding processes
  • Perform visual inspections of weld quality
  • Program and set up robotic welding systems
  • Maintain equipment and report damages or unsafe conditions
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1+ year of robotic welding experience
  • Basic knowledge of MIG welding, plasma cutting, and welding techniques
  • Preferred: robotic welding certification, experience with solid core wires, and welding in a robotic environment
