Job Summary
Perform semi-skilled work in the inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, and assembly of equipment (critical / large power plant components such as turbine, fan, valve, and pump) sent to Central Machine Shop and perform the same at other places of temporary assignment. What You'll do:
What We're Looking For:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Work Experience: At least 3 years of successful experience in welding with a basic understanding of welding concepts.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Successful completion of the Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) test.
Other Requirements: The physical demand level is Medium, involving exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently. A 2nd class welder must demonstrate the skills described or progress toward them before probation ends and obtain
