Job summary

Trystar in Faribault, MN is seeking a Welder I for 1st shift to join a dynamic team focused on portable power solutions. You will perform TIG/MIG welding on aluminum, mild steel and stainless, adhering to engineering specs, and participate in training and production reporting.

Key responsibilities include weld preparation, inspection, setup of equipment, and maintaining safety protocols. Family of benefits and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five+ years welding experience in manufacturing or related field.
• AWS/ASME welder certification or equivalent.
• Ability to read weld symbols, blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiar with TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, steel and stainless.

Responsibilities

• TIG/MIG welding on aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel with precision heat control.
• Prepare surfaces, inspect materials, and ensure quality per specifications.
• Set up welding equipment, select appropriate torch, gas flow and amperage.
• Inspect welds for defects using visual and NDT methods as required.
• Maintain safety and SOP compliance; train Welder I/II employees.
• Record production data in Epicor and assist in process improvements.
• Collaborate with team to meet project timelines.
