Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Knowledge and use of 5 and 6 axis welding robots (coordinated motion is a plus)
2. Familiarity with use of multiple GMAW profiles
3. Ability to work in a team environment
4. Correctly fixture and locate parts for robotic welding
5. Operate machines to weld components together
6. Inspect parts according to blueprints
7. Use of calipers, micrometers, measuring fixtures, and gauges
8. Maintain expected production rate numbers
9. Perform changeovers and hand weld repairs as needed
10. Perform welding material changeovers and general fixture maintenance and repair
11. Locate and run job programs; make program changes as needed
12. Troubleshoot robotic welding cells including I/O logic; identify points of failure
13. Work in accordance with our Quality System, ensuring products meet customer requirements
14. Maintain a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process, following all safety policies and procedures
15. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by management
16. Work different shifts, hours, overtime, and weekends if needed

Requirements

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Welding: 2 years

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of related experience and/or training. Robotic welding and setup experience required. AWS certification preferred but not mandatory.
