Position: TIG Welder - Panels (1st Shift)
We are seeking a Welder responsible for measuring, cutting, and welding components and assemblies.
Currently, there is an opening for a Welder in our Panels department on 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday).
Starting Pay: $20.29/hr on 1st shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather materials and supplies as needed.
- Verify correct type, quality, color, and size of components.
- Adjust gauges and settings on welder.
- Measure, cut, sand, machine, and weld components per work order, blueprint, or instructions.
- Maintain welder and related equipment in good working order.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Operate a 4-point TIG welder.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Read work orders and follow instructions.
- Ask production area if they need help regularly.
- Provide value to customers through Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
- Participate in improving products, processes, equipment, and methods.
- Handle internal and external questions professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
- Perform all related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic TIG welding skills required.
- Aluminum TIG welding skills preferred.
- Ability to create a bead and hold a stick weld.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to work overtime.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR regulations.
