Job Details

Location: 615 - Zeeland, MI

Position: TIG Welder - Panels (1st Shift)

We are seeking a Welder responsible for measuring, cutting, and welding components and assemblies.

Currently, there is an opening for a Welder in our Panels department on 1st shift (6:30 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday).

Starting Pay: $20.29/hr on 1st shift.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Gather materials and supplies as needed.
2. Verify correct type, quality, color, and size of components.
3. Adjust gauges and settings on welder.
4. Measure, cut, sand, machine, and weld components per work order, blueprint, or instructions.
5. Maintain welder and related equipment in good working order.
6. Complete necessary paperwork.
7. Operate a 4-point TIG welder.
8. Assist other departments as necessary.
9. Read work orders and follow instructions.
10. Ask production area if they need help regularly.
11. Provide value to customers through Cost, Quality, and Delivery.
12. Participate in improving products, processes, equipment, and methods.
13. Handle internal and external questions professionally and promptly.
14. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
15. Look for ways to improve job efficiency and performance.
16. Perform all related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Basic TIG welding skills required.
4. Aluminum TIG welding skills preferred.
5. Ability to create a bead and hold a stick weld.
6. Mechanically inclined.
7. Ability to work overtime.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR regulations.
