Job description

Digital Tool & Die is an established tool and die shop in Grandville, Michigan. We specialize in designing and fabricating world-class sheet metal stamping dies, roll forming, fixtures, fabrication, and special applications to meet the industrial needs for automotive, furniture, prototyping, appliance, and U.S. Military.

Job Description
  • Assemble and try-out sheet metal stamping dies.
  • Safely operate presses, press feeder equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, surface grinders, and other machine tools.
  • Responsible for quality and on-time delivery of new tool build projects.
  • Effectively communicate with engineering and quality team members when troubleshooting.
  • Help train and mentor apprentices on how dies are built and supposed to function.
Qualifications
  • Set up and operate machine tools (surface grinders, drill presses, and milling machines).
  • Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Understand and use a wide range of precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Dependable, strong work ethic, collaborative team member.
Additional Information
  • 1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6am - 4:30pm, Sat. 6am - 11am.
