Responsibilities and Skills

• 
  Ability to select and identify the proper materials, including weld wire selection, needed to weld components.
• 
  Prepares materials for welding; grinds and cleans metal.
• 
  Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
• 
  Compute and document dimensions and tolerances.
• 
  Determine best welding practices needed.
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement of operations.
• 
  Must be able to think “outside of the box”.
• 
  Verify part quality.
• 
  Self-starter.

Position Demands

• 
  Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• 
  Ability to sit for long periods of time, daily.
• 
  Able to pass vision screens.
• 
  Overtime available during peak workloads or special projects
• 
  Performs repetitive duties.
