Job summary

Miratechcorp is seeking an experienced TIG welder in Maryville, TN to weld stainless steel parts with precision and safety in the welding area.

You will read blueprints, interpret plans, and ensure products meet QC specifications while maintaining timeliness. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with strong communication skills; a welding certification is a plus, MIG/TIG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year experience with metalworking equipment in a metal fabrication facility.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner.
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Prior work experience as a MIG or TIG welder helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of QC and product specifications.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Conserve resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPE's provided.
• Ability to perform Substrate Assembly Technician duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibility: The welder has primary responsibility of TIG welding stainless steel parts. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy and timeliness in the welding area.
