Job summary

MIRATECH in Knoxville, TN seeks an experienced TIG welder to join our manufacturing team. The role emphasizes TIG welding of stainless steel parts with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.

You will read blueprints and project plans, ensure compliance with specifications, deburr and finish surfaces, and support substrate assembly as needed. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ year experience with metal working equipment in a metal fabrication facility.
• Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner.
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes.
• Prior work experience as a MIG or TIG welder helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.

Responsibilities
